The Program theme will be “Wicked Good RT’s—Innovate, Inspire, Heal” and we are embracing it. We expect fun with the selected theme, so get ready to register for fun in October. It’s Halloween time, so be prepared for witches and wicked goodness getting a lot of play, especially when participants do their part on October 1 and 2.
Franciscan Health Carmel will seek any RT volunteer to help with the Carmel Marathon on April 4, 2020.
Julie Boas is a Disease Management Coordinator for Franciscan Health and Franciscan Alliance. She sent us all a note encouraging us to “weigh in” with legislator to emphasize the importance and significance of Respiratory Therapists in Telehealth care providing services to improve outcomes and permit billing for our services.
I just want to introduce myself as the incoming ISRC President. I have worked as the NICU / PICU Clinical Coordinator at St. Vincent-Evansville for 37 years in addition to serving the ISRC as Chapter Director since 2011. I also serve University of Southern Indiana (USI) as adjunct instructor. Privileged to attend the November House of Delegates meeting; I learned how the process of getting a bill through the House of Delegates works.
