With the new year here, we look to some of the bigger events that lie ahead. For the ISRC and your state society, nothing looms larger than the 46th Annual ISRC Fall Conference 2020. It is booked at our prestigious venue; we are awaiting a few of the ongoing developments to completely disclose all we are working to achieve.
According to a citation in the 2020 report for the Global Initiative for Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD), stable COPD can be treated with a minimally invasive endobronchial valve (EBV) option. There are a few centers that place these as a bronchoscopic interventional therapy and these EBV’s meet criteria as Evidence A.
The Program theme will be “Wicked Good RT’s—Innovate, Inspire, Heal” and we are embracing it. We expect fun with the selected theme, so get ready to register for fun in October. It’s Halloween time, so be prepared for witches and wicked goodness getting a lot of play, especially when participants do their part on October 1 and 2.
Franciscan Health Carmel will seek any RT volunteer to help with the Carmel Marathon on April 4, 2020.
