There is comradery and fun with board and committee activity. We also get the job done. A personal goal for the past two years was to enjoy the work and to bring enjoyment back to the board. I feel this has been accomplished with the help of all the ISRC board and committee members.

Overall Winning Student Scholarship Paper

It was announced at the ISRC Fall Conference 2019, that the overall winning Student scholarship submission was authored by a student from the Ivy Tech Fort Wayne campus and won the coveted Bob Glass Memorial Scholarship. Sophia Walsh was the recipient and she penned a wonderful document.

Retirement of an Esteemed Member of the RT Staff

Tom McClory

Tom McClory, RRT-ACCS, will be retiring on December 31, 2019 after 18 years at Franciscan Health Indianapolis. Tom started his lengthy career in respiratory care at St. Francis Beech Grove and has held positions as a Senior Critical Care Therapist, and now Education Team Lead.

RT Week gifts boost the Fundraiser goals a little for 2019

Promo items

For about 2 months leading up to the RT week dates for 2019, the ISRC participated with Promotions Plus to market to RT departments and Vendors who do business with RT staff for gift buying. The RT departments in the state were emailed a catalog of items ranging from $2 to $10 and there are other items depending on what is sought initially.
