Exploring a career in respiratory care is an exciting step, and job shadowing is one of the best ways to see the profession in action. Students are welcome and encouraged to observe Respiratory Therapists as they care for patients and work across a variety of clinical areas.

Shadowing gives you the chance to:

• See what a day in the life of an RT is really like

• Explore different specialties such as critical care, emergency medicine, neonatal care, diagnostics, and more

• Ask questions and learn directly from professionals in the field
