The IU Health Respiratory Therapeutics: Trends and Issues spring conference for 2023 will be a 3-part virtual series starting February 23. This program is designed to update practitioners from Respiratory Therapy and Nursing on the latest care that impacts their practice and patients with pulmonary disease.

  • 7:45: ISRC Chapter Meeting
  • 8:00: Indoor Air Quality and Controlling Asthma Triggers in the Home – Rick Plew, Industrial Hygienist & Judi Magaldi, CCHW, IDOH Asthma Environmental Manager
  • 9:00: Surveillance and Epidemiology – Mary Elizabeth Steppig, Epidemiologist
  • 10:15: Pediatric Care in the Emergency Setting – Amanda Worthington, RRT & Chelsea Cronin, RRT

Indiana University Health is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Maryland Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Nurses can earn up to three contact hours for time in attendance and submission of an evaluation. An application has been made to the AARC for CRCE credit.
