Pat Ingle was appointed Chair for the 2020 ISRC Program Committee and everyone involved is already “off and running” on various tasks and assigned duties. The first of six scheduled meetings occurred on November 18. Nominations for Program “Theme” were sent to the 2019 committee’s attention and reviewed for merit.
A submission entitled “Wicked Good RT’s – Innovate, Inspire, Heal” won out as best theme and was selected with enthusiasm.IU Health’s Debbie Koehl
In any event, we will incorporate Wicked Goodness (or maybe Good Wickedness) with Respiratory Care, and we expect the best, or somebody or something will be turned into a toad. We all anticipate a lot of fun with this, so get ready. It is the season for Halloween and witches and wicked goodness could get a lot of play, so get ready to do your part on October 1 and 2 when the ISRC brings the 46th Annual Fall Conference to Plainfield’s Embassy Suites once again. There are currently twelve members on the Program committee and everyone is busy under Pat’s leadership. Mary Todd will cast spells for a most successful “Silent Auction”, Craig Traxler will perform duties for Treasurer, Jeff Hunsucker will work his magic on “Vendor” enrollment and relations, Jeff Scott will conjure up “Local Arrangements”, Kathy Stephens will smoothly navigate “Registration & Badges”, Stephanie Colletti will work her magic on “Eventbrite Registration”, Susan Wynn will enchant prospects for “Speakers”, Brittaney Haynes will document in Secretarial fashion and work “CRCE Application and Evaluations”, Susan VonTobel will be liaison for the student contingent and assist John Murphy with Vendors and Registration, and lastly Ashley Hartman will work her magic to produce the “Program Brochure” along with duties for Eventbrite and Vendor Registration.
