Our Past president and ISRC Board member and committee chair Pat Ingle was married to Mitchell for 37 years. Family members and siblings are from Indiana including Washington, Carmel, and Franklin, Indiana as well as Portland, Oregon. Mitchell’s visitation was held at Mooresville’s Carlisle-Branson’s Funeral Service and Crematory Nov. 8, 2019; his funeral was held on Nov. 9, 2019 at the Good-win-Sievers Family Funeral Home, in Washington, Indiana. Mitchell’s final resting place is the Sugarland Memory Gardens, also in Washington.
On November 4, 2019, Mitchell Bruce Ingle, of Mooresville, Indiana passed away at home after a long battle with Parkinson disease. Mitchell was 63 and was the husband of our beloved Pat Ingle from IU Health and dutiful servant of the ISRC.
Mitchell was born in York, Alabama, and was proud to attend the Citadel in South Carolina. After attaining his business degree from Indiana University, Mitchell acquired a Culinary Arts Associates Degree from Ivy Tech, then was chosen to go to Paris to complete a culinary internship. He shared his travels with Pat, returning to Indiana as a sous chef in the area, including the Colonnade Room for several years. Travel and culinary experiences included Disney World. Mitchell enjoyed fishing in his spare time, and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Mitchell is direly missed by family, siblings, loved ones and friends.
On behalf of the ISRC, we extend our most heartfelt sympathy for a great loss to our friend, peer, and colleague Pat Ingle.
