ISRC partners with Embassy Suites for the 45th ISRC Fall Seminar

by Jeff Scott, Jeff Hunsucker and John Murphy

Commendations go to the ISRC Program Committee who set and met the goal of bringing the biggest meeting of the year back to central Indiana for a welcomed change. This group sought to find the best location with robust amenities to host the next 2 ISRC Fall meetings in Indiana. Our winning combination was, of course, the Embassy Suites and YOU-Our ISRC!. With a signed 2-year agreement in place, all we need to record a huge success is the membership and all respiratory care practitioners to challenge themselves to engage.

We are counting on our efforts to benefit all RCP’s by centrally locating our biggest program in the newest and finest location we could find in a central location. Located in Plainfield, the Embassy Suites and Conference center is just westward of Indy’s far west side. The excitement builds as the line-up for presenters is a “grand-Slam”; the committee believes everyone will be enthused and engaged at this years ISRC Fall Seminar.

The ISRC Fall Seminar will occur in October on Thursday and Friday the 10 and 11. With your commitment and participation, the ISRC could surpass 300 attendees and really shake things up once again, so put this event on your calendar. Exhibitors and participants can register on Eventbrite at this link for participants and here for vendors. If you are an exhibitor with questions, please reach out to Jeff Hunsucker at (317) 944-1007, Jeff Scott at (317) 442-9646, or John Murphy, jmurphy@in-isrc.org and know that booth space is limited. If you need to mail a check please mail it to: ISRC PO Box 951, Indianapolis IN 46206-0951.

We have the coolest theme for this year’s seminar. It is a legendary “Lego” theme – “RT’s are the Building Blocks of Healthcare”.  Attendees will choose a “Best in Show” vendor booth by voting for the booth that incorporates this theme the best. The Program Committee also will recognize one sponsor for outstanding support of our state society. Back by popular demand is “Trivia Night” and sponsorship is being arranged so stay tuned. If your group is interested please contact John Murphy and /or Jeff Scott. Again, the ISRC will have a Silent Auction at the conference to raise money for student scholarships. Participants are asked to consider donating a basket or gift auction item by contacting Mary Todd at 812-779-6842 . We look forward to seeing you at the show. Together, we’ll make 2019 the best year ever.
