“We’re back, but now it is in Indy West” for the 45th ISRC Annual Meeting

by Jeff Scott, Jeff Hunsucker and John Murphy

Earlier this year, a search group from the Program Committee sought to find the perfect location to host the next two ISRC Fall meetings in Indiana. After researching the Embassy Suites, committee members found it to be the place we sought with the “right stuff” and signed a 2-year agreement. This action will keep our fall seminar centrally located and more accessible to membership. Located in Plainfield, the Embassy Suites and Conference center is just westward of Indy’s far west side. We are happy to report the lineup for presenters is an out-of-the-park home run and the committee believes everyone will be enthused and engaged.

The Save the Date information was shared recently; the Fall Seminar will occur in October on Thursday and Friday the 10 and 11. Help the ISRC surpass 300 attendees and put this event on your calendar. It is centrally located in Indiana and easily accessible to surrounding states as well. Exhibitors and participants can register on Eventbrite online soon with a link to be posted on the ISRC website. If you are an exhibitor with questions, please reach out to Jeff Hunsucker at (317) 944-1007, Jeff Scott at (317) 442-9646, or John Murphy, johntmurphyjr@gmail.com and know that booth space is limited. If you need to mail a check please mail it to: ISRC PO Box 951, Indianapolis IN 46206-0951.

Respiratory Therapy - The Building Blocks of Healthcare!

The theme for this year’s seminar is “A Lego Theme – RT’s are the Building Blocks of Healthcare”.

The RT’s attending will choose a “Best in Show” vendor booth by voting for the booth that incorporates this theme the best. The Program Committee also will recognize one sponsor for outstanding support of our state society. Back by popular demand is trivia night and we are seeking a sponsor for this. If your company is interested please contact John Murphy or Jeff Scott. For the 16th year in a row, the ISRC will have a Silent Auction at the conference to raise money for student scholarships. Participants are asked to consider donating a basket or gift auction item by contacting Mary Todd at (812) 779-6842.

We look forward to seeing you at the show. Together, we’ll make 2019 the best year ever.
